About KTLC

The Kentucky Teaching and Learning Conference (KTLC) is the largest professional development-based conference in the state, providing unique opportunities for administrators and educators to share current, relevant, research-based ideas and strategies related to targeted topic areas that can be implemented immediately in schools and districts.

Over the past two decades, KTLC has evolved from a technology-focused conference to one that integrates technology, core subjects, best practices and innovative ideas to improve leadership, teaching and student learning.

KTLC is designed as a hands-on experience for attendees.  Workshops, presentations and special events are tied directly to Kentucky's Core Content for Assessment and Program of Studies and relate to all grade levels and subject areas.

Bring Your Team and Save!

In an effort to make KTLC part of a strategic professional development plan, district and school instructional leadership teams are encouraged to attend.  Sessions and workshops will be identified in advance so teams attending can strategically approach the conference. Planning tools and team debriefing/planning time and space will be provided at the conference to school and district teams. The conference is open to everyone!

Create group synergy by bringing your whole team to KTLC and receive a group discount. The wealth of learning and knowledge that the conference offers is much more than one person can absorb. Bringing a team will help you cover more sessions and workshops to gain the collective knowledge and resources that your district will benefit from.

When five or more people from one school/district register to attend the full conference, one member may waive the Conference Registration fee (a $150 value). To receive this discount, your registration must be submitted as a group, with one payment or purchase order.
